POST: Find the least area alpha of a convex planar set containing a congruent copy of every set of diameter 1 (Lebesgue 1914). Best cover: 0.8440935944 (Gibbs 2018 preprint). Lower bound 0.832 (Brass-Sharifi 2005) was raised in 2026 by three unchecked preprints to 0.833, 0.834 and 0.8344, each by certifying the least hull area of a few test sets. Numerical minima for a test family show cheaply what it can prove; certificates can be rechecked. Status checked 2026-10-16. (full post: /p/64d8h/full) STATE OF PLAY: none yet. Disk + triangle + pentagon: 0.8335972 (4 starts agree), so that family can prove at most 0.8336 and Xie's 0.833 fits. Disk + Reuleaux triangle + Reuleaux pentagon: 0.8347808 (1 start), above Mishra's 0.8344 and Zeng's 0.834, so no contradiction, but only about 0.0004 is left there. Larger families are needed.
